Q: Where is Djambo on the island?
A: Djambo is located south of the center of Kralendijk, 2 minutes drive from the airport and 10-15 minutes walking distance from the center.
Q: How do I get to Djambo from the airport?
A: We can arrange a taxi for you. For USD 15 the taxi driver will be waiting for you at the airport with a name sign. He will take you to Djambo.
Q: What's the weather on Bonaire?
A: The weather on Bonaire is usually wonderfully sunny with occasional clouds, supplemented by a nice trade wind. The day temperature varies between 29 - 32 degrees and the night temperature between 25 - 27 degrees. The “coldest” months are January-March, the hottest months are August-October. The water temperature in the sea varies between 26 - 29 degrees.
Q: What are the best months for wind / kite surfing on Bonaire?
A: Bonaire has a nice trade wind throughout the year. In the months of September-November the wind can be slightly less on average (11-13 knots). The rest of the year there is an average wind speed of around 20 knots.
Q: Do I need a car on Bonaire?
A: It depends a bit on what you are planning. A moped is also fine to tour the island, or a bicycle for the active among us. If you want to go diving or if you want to go to Washington Slagbaai Park, a car (pickup) is necessary.
Q: Can I do laundry at your place?
A: Yes, we have a washing machine especially for guests. Cost is USD 5, including detergent.
Q: Is there a supermarket nearby?
A: There is a small supermarket within walking distance. And two large supermarkets are a 2-minute drive away.

Q: Does the apartment have a 220 V socket?
A: The apartments have 110 V sockets and 220 V sockets American model and each apartment has a double 220V European model.
Q: Does Djambo have internet available?
A: At check-in you will receive an access code for our free wireless internet.
Q: Are there hairdryers in the rooms?
A: Yes!
Q: Do I have to bring my own linen and towels?
A: We provide linen and towels. The apartment is cleaned twice a week. Towels can be changed every day if desired. You must bring your own bath towel or you can purchase a nice Djambo bath towel.
