The sea around Bonaire and Klein Bonaire – the Bonaire National Marine Park (BNMP) – is protected and managed by STINAPA.The Marine Park surrounds the entire island from the high water mark to the depth of 60 meters (200 ft). All activities in the Bonaire National Marine Park are subject to payment, including SCUBA diving and other water activities, the so called Nature Fee.
By paying the Nature Fee you provide the funds to manage the nature protection and conservation around Bonaire. Your payment of US $ 40,00 covers admission for one calendar year to the Bonaire National Marine Park and the Washington Slagbaai National Park.
